Utilise Qt 4.8.4 (compilé avec Qt 4.8.4)
Utilisant MPlayer SVN r36349

under Windows XP SP3

I try to watch this streaming :
http://bfmlive-i.akamaihd.net/hls/live/ ... ss/04.m3u8

after few seconds the flow stops .

When I try another way , it works .

I have downloaded "smplayer-portable-0.8.6.7z (2013-08-13)" ,
while using , first time , the player , I am told about a new version , existing :
"smplayer-0.8.6.5949-win32.exe" .

I don't want an installable version (!!!) .
Could you give us a new portable one , if exist ?

I'm afraid mplayer doesn't support correctly this kind of stream (HLS).
There's actually a bug in smplayer, by fixing it, the stream plays longer, but with annoying cuts every 10 seconds, and anyway the stream stops after 10 minutes or so. VLC does support this stream. Let's hope the mplayer developers will add support for it as well.

Edit: THERE IS SUPPORT for these streams in recent versions of mplayer, but you need to enter the url this way:
ffmpeg://http://bfmlive-i.akamaihd.net/ ... ss/04.m3u8

However there are still small freezes every few seconds.
