m4b help

okay i can play m4b files but i can't get them to play like m3 file in directory why is this i mean i can play them just by clicking on them 1 at a time but i can't get them to play all at one time like most file types it very annoying and i looked all over i love using smplayer but wen it comes to files like this i end up using media player classic and i not a real fan of using that player for the very reason i can't stop and start where i left off i sure there a way to do so but i just to lazy to look for 1 not like smplayer that i just click and there it is so i would love some help with this if it something wrong with my player i would love to know how to fix it or if it just one of them number of bugs that all players have and has not been fixed i not sure if it update it self but i have not downloaded the new smplayer in years and i have no clue if that would fix it or not or even if this players gets updated never really cared tell now never really had any problems with it tell now to care about

I didn't know about the m4b format. I've just added it to the list of extensions.
