Bug in SMplayer and Ubuntu 14.04

smplayer ubuntu 14.04 fails, for example when you see a movie full screen and then press F to return to the initial display ... sometimes gets stuck having to restart the interface (Ctrl F1 and sudo service restart LightDM) because no goes full screen and the image stuck with audio freezes, sometimes returning to its original state but in an ugly way (and breaking) and leaving black squares

I use Smplayer 14.3.0 and i use the PPA ppa:rvm/smplayer

Does it work well with the previous version (0.8.6)?
