Blank Theme/Icon resource file?

I like the SMPlayer 'Default' theme and icons, but I'd like a blank 'background' when I start SMPlayer. I used to have a 1px background.png file that I loaded via a 'custom' theme. Now, with resource files, this doesn't work so I haven't been able to turn off the default background icon. Is there some way I can do that? A 'blank' resource file perhaps? Thanks.

I tried changing to a different background.png file, but still get a 'blank' screen even though the new background.png file is not blank. When I remove the background.png file entirely I, surprisingly, still get a blank screen. Is there any way to change the background by changing the png file? I'm using your 'Blank.rcc' resource file, which I see is calling background.png.

I'm using WinXP so I'm out of luck. But the blank background will be alright. Too bad the rcc file needs to be regenerated even though the filename is the same. Puzzling... Anyway, thanks again.

The *.rcc file is a compressed archive which includes all png files (like a zip or a rar). So if a image changes the rcc has to be regenerated.

I know this makes things complicated for windows users, so I'll try to provide a tool which makes easier to create the rcc file.

In this version if the rcc file is not found then it will load the png files like in previous versions. So just delete the rcc file and it will load your images.

Thanks for the update, rvm. Unfortunately, I can't get it to run. I got an error saying mingwm10.dll was missing. I put a copy in the smplayer folder, then got an error saying...

smplayer.exe - Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0x80000004).

An earlier version, r6364, runs perfectly on WinXP-sp1.

That's weird. I rechecked the package and mingwm10.dll is there and smplayer runs ok.
