How did you download the video as flv?

I tried to download it (with youtube-dl and jdownloader) but it downloads as mp4, not flv, so I can't test.

I used Internet Download Manager to download the (flv) video. I'm on a slow dial-up connection as well.

Possibly because I'm on a slow connection, maybe the file "downgrades" automatically to a flv format?

When downloading videos using Internet Download Manager, I am usually given several options of which file type (and video resolution) I prefer to download. But for this video there were no options given to select file type and resolution. The video just downloaded in flv format automatically.

File size is 70.2 MB. Maybe I could upload this file somewhere for reference? But being on dial-up connection, it would take quite a few hours to upload.

Ok, I downloaded the file in flv format with Internet Download Manager.

Yes, the file stops after a few seconds. I guess there's something wrong with the file. I tested also with mplayer2, it plays better (it doesn't stop) but seeking doesn't work well.

I dowloaded the video in mp4 format with jdownloader and it plays ok.

Thanks.

So there maybe a problem with the flv file. However, VLC Media Player manages to play this flv video OK despite any flv file issue(s).

Will there be any further work done to see if this flv file can be made to play correctly on SMPlayer/MPlayer?

I tested the video with a very recent version of mplayer (built from last month) and it still fails to play the video.

mplayer2 can play the file but it outputs this warning:
[flv @ 0x86e2500]Found invalid index entries, clearing the index.

mpv can also play the video but it also displays another warning:
[flv @ 0x89572e0]Stream discovered after head already parsed

So it seems there's something wrong in the video.
