Downloading YouTube

some final thoughts - this new button's function, for me, would be useful if it would display/allow playback of the video, to verify the correct url. Unfortunately it immediately downloads the url. Lastly, were it me, I would have spent the energy to make reliable (enhance, fix?) the 'search' function since it is already there - no need to 're-invent the wheel', imo. I would focus on other issues, such as incorporating taskbar player control. Just my perspective - thx.

After upgrading my SMPlayer version 14.3.0 (r6349) to version 14.9.0 (r6556), I found that the 'Download Video' option in SMTube is no longer available. I checked the forums and found that a new version of SMTube (smplayer-14.3.0.6255-win32.exe) has an 'Enter URL' button, but, I can't find this installer anywhere.
I then decided to completely uninstall SMPlayer 14.3.0, so that I could start over with a clean install of Version 14.9.0 (svn r6556) (32-bit), including SMTube Version: 14.8.0 (svn r6556) (32-bit), but, sadly this install does not have the 'Enter URL' button either - only the 'config and Info' buttons.
Please advise how/where to proceed to get a copy of the software that contains the 'Enter URL' option button.

Dear RVM, as suggested I installed SMPlayer version 14.9.0 (r6497), which includes SMTube version 14.8.0 (r6497), containing all 4 buttons ('recordings', 'enter url', 'settings' and 'Info') and the context menu with all functions restored ('play video', 'record video', 'record audio', 'watch on YouTube', 'copy link' and 'add url to smplayer playlist').
Sadly when selecting 'record video' or 'copy link' into 'enter url' box, both fail with the error - 'Video requested needs to open an HTTPS connection. The openssl component is not available'.
So I decided to install SMPlayer version 14.9.0 (r6560) over the top of (r6497), and we're back to the original problem of SMTube not having the 'Enter URL' button again - only the 'settings' and 'Info' buttons.

I have downloaded the x64 build of Version: 14.9.0 (svn r6576) (64-bit) but when I right click on the YouTube item thumbnail there is no record option.

Record option seems to be missing, although I can now watch the videos on SMPlayer.

The options to download youtube videos have been removed from the last version. You can get an older one, which have those options:
