I can no longer play youtube videos

When I click a video, I get a message that says, "The video you requested needs an open HTTPS connection. Unfortunately the openssl component, required for it, is not available for your system." There's a link for help but it says coming soon. Help a brother out.

Get the latest version, it contains the openssl libraries:

I've just checked the link I gave you before (http://www.fosshub.com/SMPlayer.html/sm ... -win32.exe) and it contains the openssl libraries and youtube videos play ok.

Be sure you downloaded the right file.

Could you send the smplayer log after getting the error? (options -> view logs)
