Auto update again

Hello everybody,

I have installed the portable version of smplayer, and as far as I can tell it's very good!
But:
The program tries to connect to the internet every time it's being started.

SMPlayer doesn't have any auto update at all.

I guess you installed a package called "MPlayer for Windows" created by another person, I think that package does have an auto update. I don't use that package, and I don't know how to disable the auto update. You should ask here.

Or just uninstall that package and install any of the packages from this web.

I DID install a package from here. I swear! (To be more precise: http://download.berlios.de/smplayer/smp ... e-0.6.9.7z) Still, it tries to go online, see above.
Any idea?

smplayer doesn't have any auto update.

Do you have something in the playlist? Or in the recents menu?

Could you copy the smplayer log?

You can find the logs in "Options > View logs > MPlayer/SMPlayer".

Do you have it set to only one instance? If you do it listens on a port and that might be what you're seeing.. but it doesn't actually "go online" unless you're downloading subtitles or an internet stream. There isn't anything unclear about SMPlayer, just make sure you get it from the links on the download page or the Sourceforge repository and it'll be fine..

No,Recent list is set to zero.
try it again..
And it happens no matter if we open a file or start smplayer by clicking the .exe.
