SMPlayer does not play video .Help me!

SMP does not play videofile extension (.vmv).Сodec installed this G2M3 .The sound is played.Windows XP SP3.Sori my english.

You're forcing mplayer to use the codec gotomeeting, which is not available (mplayer uses its own codecs, not the system codecs). I suggest to disable the option "remember settings for all files" in preferences -> general and try again.

Then I think you'll need to try to install the mplayer binary codecs:


Uncompress the codecs in the folder C:/Program Files/SMPlayer/mplayer/codecs

It seems this codec is not supported right now by mplayer.

Although according to the old news in the mplayer site it seems it worked some time in the past.

windows-essential-20071007.zip doesn't have g2m.dll that the log says is missing but this one does ftp://ftp.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases ... 31.tar.bz2
