Pause/unpause after "jumping"

Postby haedri » Wed Feb 11, 2015 11:36 am

Hi,

I have a small problem with smplayer 14.9.0 on Windows, if I pause a video then jump (wheel or left/right arrow) the video automatically unpause after jump.
On Linux/Ubuntu I don't have this problem, after jumping the video is still in the previous state.

Do you know how to get the same behavior on the Windows version ? (if the video was paused I prefer it to be still paused after jump)
It's quite annoying when watching a tutorial video and you just want to do small jumps keeping it paused to have time to read everything.

This is a problem of mplayer. You can fix it by installing smplayer with mpv (http://smplayer.sourceforge.net/mpv.php).

Maybe you didn't experience this problem in Ubuntu probably because you had mplayer2 installed, which doesn't have this problem either.
