Isn't there any other application for AmigaOS4 that can find the URLs of the Youtube videos? It doesn't need to be youtube-dl.

If there isn't any, maybe it's not very difficult to create one. You can use the current code from smtube or any other application around there.

Sorry about the quality, my computer is old and it drops a lot of frames while recording the desktop.

Things working: search and categories, but many other things can be added like listing videos from channels, subscriptions and so on.
Clicking on a link or thumbnail opens the video in SMPlayer. When the right button is clicked it displays two options to play the video with SMPlayer or MPlayer.

Now there are some menus to choose the order, quality, region and even the theme.
It will be possible to add other players (or any kind of application) to open the URLs.

I can't find good GUIs for youtube-dl, but anyway it will be possible to use any download manager to download the youtube videos.

Youtube-dl is a remarkebly flexible and capable downloader. The list of supported websites from which it can download is very long.

I didn't see an option on the pulldown menus to just 'copy the link to the clipboard' so it could be pasted into the downloader of choice.

BTW, would it be possible to build the smtube webpage so it can be used without requiring Javascript?
