Viedo in non-english filename

Hi all,

I am not able to use SMPlayer to play videos with filename in non-English characters.
I checked the Mplayer log and found that those non-english filenames are turned into a bunch of questions marks "?????????"

Apart from renaming all those videos, any idea how i can play those files in SMPlayer?

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

btw, I am running English Win7

Try the option "pass short names to mplayer" in preferences -> advanced.
