smplayer and srt subtiltes issue

hi there,

smplayer does not want to display subtitles that are included in mkv container or named like the mkv container.

i copied the mplayer line in the smplayer log and removed the -wid 113246551 option and started mplayer with the line...: works.

What build of SMPlayer and MPlayer are you using? Post the logs. -wid has to do with embedding MPlayer so it wouldn't apply when running it without SMPlayer.

I'm using r31878 MPlayer and it shows subtitles by default when run by itself but in SMPlayer I have to deselect and then select the subtitle. This isn't the first time it's happened, seems to come and go with different MPlayer revisions.

I hope 7z is ok one of the files is too big.

MPlayer that doesn't show subtitle, has to be deselected then selected to show (ASS or SRT):

Loads subtitle correctly:

r3579-r31743-smplayer.log
