No Sound from HD-DVD .EVO file with EAC3

I am trying to play an .EVO file, created with DumpHD from an HD-DVD with EAC3 encoded sound. SMPlayer shows the video perfectly, and seems to pass-through the audio to S/PDIF, but my receiver cannot decode EAC3. How do I convert or transcode it to AC3, or is there a better way? Blu-ray dumps and DVD disks play fine. Please help.
