Having a small problem with "mirror image"

Hi.. Ok so mirror image does work for me but the thing is sometimes, when i click on it, the video automatically gets skipped forward.. For example, if i am watching something at 2:50 and i click on "mirror image" , the video gets forwarded to 2:58 or something. How do i fix this problem?

This happens because when the mirror option is turned on/off SMPlayer has to restart mplayer. The problem can be avoided by using SMPlayer with mpv:
