"Mplayer/mpv has crashed"

I just started getting this error message when trying to play videos. It may have started after a Windows 10 update.

I get the message in the subject header and then I get the message: "Mplayer/mpv has finished unexpectedly. Exit code: -1073741819"

I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of SMPlayer with no change.

Here's what the log shows:

Or if you have a link to the video I can give it a try. At least for me MP4 isn't broken on videos using the same video/audio codec.
