enabling mpv prevents video playback

Similar problems here, no video, no sound etc. (16.1.0 on Windows 7 64 bit) and the mpv version cannot even be installed/downloaded ("error connecting to host"), good service, why it is not possible to download a mpv version directly ?

Youtube is not important for me but I wonder about this SMTube, too, is it outdated now ? Reaslly nothing happens,"loading 10% or so" and at 100% after some minutes and if one writes something into the search field the same again and not a single link or video or anything is shown at the end of the process, seems complete nonsense to me, do newer versions of SMPlayer still depend on SMTube or not ?

Would be good if the host with the mpv files would be active again some time in the future at least (just for testing some features etc.)

No video, no audio etc. meant only for Youtube/SMTube, other files playing well in SMPlayer (running it for some days only so far)
