32-bit mpv error on exit in 64-bit Windows 8.1

Postby DVV » Fri Apr 01, 2016 8:54 pm

SMPlayer 16.4.0 Release 32-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit.
When stopping to play any video file (when mpv exits), there is a message "Oops, something went wrong". Please find the log attached.
Also I've noticed that when Video -> Filters -> Sharpen is turned on or off, the Brightness and Contrast levels do not seem to be kept. Usually I set Brightness level at 4 or 8 in the Equalizer, and when the Sharpen becomes on or off, the image becomes darker - as if Brightness level is 0.
All of this applies only to mpv, whereas everything is OK with mplayer. Also, if I simply run mpv from a command line (e.g. "mpv video_file"), there does not seem to be any problem when mpv exits.

This problem seems to happen in the 32-bit version of mpv when running on a 64-bit Windows, mpv doesn't quit when smplayer sends the quit command, which ends up in a warning dialog.

Possible solutions:
- use the 64-bit version of smplayer and mpv
- turn off the option "report mplayer/mpv crashes" in preferences -> advanced
