Can't drop multiple folders on the main window

On Windows, if you drag and drop just one folder onto the main window, the content of the playlist will be replaced by the media files the folder contains and SMPlayer will automatically start playing the files. If you drop one or more folders onto the playlist, the media files in the folders will be added, with the existing items on the list preserved. If you drop multiple folders (or multiple items including one or more folders) on the main window, however, the folders per se, not media files within them, will replace the current content of the playlist and SMPlayer will play nothing.

It's been this way forever it seems like, and I assumed it was intended or at least a known issue to be fixed sometime, but since a quick search on the bug tracker and this forum didn't return what I was expecting, and taking into account the fact that dropping folders onto the playlist works properly, I thought maybe I should bring this up here.
