[REQUEST] Show video & audio FORMAT

I want to know if is possible to display/show the current video format and audio next to the resolution and fps in the interface; if it's not possible its not a big deal, thanks.

Example: 640x480 23.976 fps h264/aac 00:14:49 / 00:23:09

Options -> Status bar ->Video info. That will display the resolution and fps in the status bar. The info about codecs is available in Options -> Information and properties (this option is in the "View" menu in the development version).

I know all that, but I want to know if its possible to display them in the status bar as well, if not, that's fine.

That's great news, I hope some day it gets implemented. I use that information a lot, it will save me a few seconds from going to the information and properties...

I've just added (r7911) an option to display the video and audio codecs in the status bar.

Your patch is ok for me. I've just committed it (r7912). The text is also displayed in upper case.
