File Navigation Problem

Postby jksgvb » Sun Jun 19, 2016 3:43 pm

I recently updated SMPlayer to v 16.6.0 and I am no longer able to easily navigate to the volume where my music resides. I'm running Elementary Freya 0.3.2 built on Ubuntu 14.4 on a dual-boot Win 7 computer. SMPlayer's navigation window now shows the Linux partition only and my music is on another Win 7 hard drive. I had no trouble before the upgrade. Is there a setting somewhere that got changed or is this a bug?

SMPlayer 16.6 is built with Qt 5, and it seems the Qt 5 currently is not using the system's native open dialog on Linux.

Thanks for the answer. I think what I'll do then is go back to an earlier version. SMPlayer is the still the best player I've found so far for Elementary OS.
