Press space to play same medie again from the beginning

As default we got space key as shortcut for pause.
But no shortcut for play.
It annoys me then when i medie have reaced the end i dont have a keyboard shortcut to play the media again.
So i have to use the mouse to find the play button which is annoying, especially when i use compact mode (Ctrl+C).

In some other media players i can just hit space as default to play the same media from the beginning.

I would like at least a default keyboard shortcut for play.
Then perhaps combine play/pause so it uses the same keyboard shortcut, which is already does when playing a medie, but for some reason can't be used to play the media from the beginning when it have reaced the end (perhaps because it unloads the media?).

The action Play/Pause is assigned by default to the multimedia keys "Media Play" and "Toggle Media Play/Pause". You can change it in preferences -> keyboard and mouse.

How do i get it to play again by pressing space after the media have ended?

Go to preferences -> keyboard and mouse, add space as shortcut for the "play_or_pause" action and remove it from the "pause" action.

How can i start the media with the keyboard with the default settings?

Ok i dont have those media button on my keyboard.
Why not use space?
