Running SMPlayer opens first-steps webpage

I test different distributions in VirtualBox etc. to see how well they are translated to my language.
And here i notice Firefox also starts up when i start SMPlayer which is extra annoying in a virtual environment because it can make the virtual environment non responsive. Maybe because i dont have super much RAM on my system i dont know but sometimes when i start Firefox it can get very slow and i sometimes just reboot the system in the virtual invironment because i know it will take so long for it to respond and close Firefox.
So thats another reason why not to open other programs when the user choose to open one program.
Imagine if each program you opened would open another program that would really be bad.
