YouTube completely broken (again)

Maybe that version of mplayer (which is old) can't play https streams.

Hello.
I have a big problem with SMPlayer (v18.1.0.8885 x64) and A-B function when streaming from Youtube.
What I want to do is this: play a section of a Youtube video from point A to point B, and when reaching point to B to stop playing and exit SMPlayer.
I could do this without any problem (and I was very happy) until the recent changes from Youtube. Now it is impossible.
Here is what I have tried, and the results:

CASE A

SETTINGS (1):
(GENERAL) Multimedia engine = mplayer
(INTERFACE) SEEKING METHOD = Relative seeking
(NETWORK) SUPPORT FOR VIDEO SITES = Auto (or Youtube)
RESULT:
a. Search using the slider works OK, but search using Play -> Jump to (or Control+J) results to a CRASH.
b1. Using the slider to go to the desirable time for A point and setting point A using the menu (Play -> A-B section -> set A marker) works OK.
b2. Using the slider again to go to the desirable time for B point and setting point B using the menu (Play -> A-B section -> set B marker) does not work -> results to a CRASH.

SETTINGS (2):
(GENERAL) Multimedia engine = mplayer
(INTERFACE) SEEKING METHOD = Relative seeking
(NETWORK) SUPPORT FOR VIDEO SITES = mpv+youtube-dl
RESULT:
SMPlayer crashes when starting playing the video and immediately shuts down (I think it is expected because mplayer is selected).

CASE B - SETTINGS:
(GENERAL) Multimedia engine = mpv
(INTERFACE) SEEKING METHOD = Relative seeking
(NETWORK) SUPPORT FOR VIDEO SITES = Auto (or Youtube or mpv + youtube-dl)
RESULT:
a. Search using the slider or using Play -> Jump to (or Control+J) works OK.
b. Setting A and B does not work at all. Nothing happens when I set point A and/or B.

I hope that this is something that can be fixed. It would be very important for me!

mpv 0.28 seems to play the youtube live streams fine.

That's weird. I'm also using Windows 10 64 bit and that option works fine for me. I open a youtube video, select the A and B points, enable the repeat option, when the video gets to the B point it comes back to the A point.
