'Mono' audio mode?

Could you please add a 'Mono' audio mode (e.g., Stereo, Left, Right, Mono) to combine the left and right channels? This would be useful for blending the two channels when one is either missing or badly mismatched. Thanks.

Would it be possible to add this feature? I think Mplayer supports mono mode, but I'm not sure if SMplayer can pass the necessary option...
