Youtube videos no longer supported on Windows XP?

Is it possible to watch youtube videos on smplayer on WindowsXP?
The last working version was 16.4 - some videos didn't work (mainly music videos) but majority worked just fine. Now I get error message that "it was not possible to locate video url".

You need at least SMPlayer 18.1.
The 32 bit package still should work on Windows XP.

The last screenshot is from current version 18.2
I am able to play youtube videos on smplayer 18.2 on Windows7 virtual machine - but it's impractical since VM consumes too much resources to play videos on fullscreen. That's why I'm looking for XP solution. The only other program that works well on XP is VLC, but seeking froward/backwards is just a nightmare. Smplayer was much better.

Is there anything I can install for XP to fix the problem?

Can you send the smplayer log (menu View) after trying to play a YouTube video?

I've just tested on a computer with Windows XP and YouTube videos play fine. I guess that maybe you need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.

I can't reproduce this problem in my computer with Windows XP.

This error seems to occur when the files libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll are missing. Be sure they are installed in the smplayer folder.
