Mp4 play just the first time

I have this strange problem on debian sid. A mp4 file play just the first time. the second time only audio but no video. Mplayer on console works. i deleted ~/.config/smplayer and it plays again always one time. lookng more deep i see that in file_setting there is only one file ( related to the mp4 with problems) and i need to delete the file and play the video.
