Current Status of Smplayer Development?

According to the official Launchpad PPA for Smplayer, there haven't been any new releases of Smplayer since February 2010:

So I was curious if RVM has been too busy to release or if there simply haven't been any new changes that required a release.

Love your application. I use it almost every day. Is there a place to go to look at status, timeline trac or anything that will tell us future plans?
