Also, I forgot to add, I tried to downgrade smplayer to fix this and it didn't work. Yum will not let me downgrade mplayer.

I don't think it's a problem in smplayer, it's probably a bug in mplayer or one of the libraries it uses.

Thanks, the problem is definitely mplayer or the libraries that it uses. Will check the mailing lists.
