SMplayer showing wrong bitrate

as title says, the bitrate in info is not the real one. i don't know what it is.
i checked in many files and not only one. and with different extensions too (mp4,mkk and avi)

mpv takes some seconds to report the bitrate, so if you open the information window just after starting to play it displays 0.
You can enable the "bitrate info" in the menu "Options -> Status bar" to get live information about the bitrate.

so that is why i see 0 kbps

but the problem is still there because even when i see a value,that value is not correct

here is the same file after waiting a bit

and as you can see i don't use the status bar. i want to hide as much as possible (i'm the one who asked to hide the menu bar too)

I guess VLC displays an average bitrate. SMPlayer displays the latest value reported by mpv which I think comes from the past few seconds of the video.

With Mplayer it seems to be all ok.
