Create multiple custom shortcuts for the same command?

Is it possible to create more than one keyboard shortcut for the same command? In a few cases, I would like to keep the default shortcut and add a second one. I notice that some commands have more than one built-in shortcut, but I cannot figure out how to do the same here.

Go to preferences -> keyboard and mouse, select the action you want to change, click on the "change shortcut" button, and then you can add more shortcuts.

Good grief, my eyes simply did not notice the great, big plus and minus icons. Thank you!
