How can I debug it? Some more detailed logging?
BTW dropping URL to mpv works good.

The log shows a problem in the playlist. What settings are you using for the playlist? (Preferences -> Playlist)

I've just recreated smplayer.ini and there is no playlist's sections as in old one, so problem is gone now.
