smplayer 0.6.7 play/pause/resume bug in kubuntu

hi,

I'm using Kubuntu 9.10; KDE 4.4rc2, smplayer 0.6.7 and MPlayer SVN-r29237-4.4.1 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team.

There is a bug with play/resume which is caused by "pause/resume" shortcut key but when used with Audio output -> alsa. The video simply won't unpauses (resumes) but resumes for some milliseconds and pauses again. this bug is fixed by using "pulse" audio in smplayer settings.


Just wanted to share the workaround for kubuntu 9.10 guys and girls. i.e., use pulseaudio with smplayer in 9.10.

I have the same issue using Mandriva 2010. KDE 4.3.5 smplayer 0.6.8 and MPplayer SVN-1.rc4.0.r30130.1plf2010.0-4.4.1 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team

The pulse audio option solved this problem....
