-add-to-playlist : Without option "Use only one running..."

Postby ghost_zero » Wed Feb 23, 2011 11:44 pm

Hi,

if I start SMPlayer with disabled option "Use only one running instance of SMPlayer" and use the command line argument "-add-to-playlist"
SMPlayer doesn't add the file to the playlist of the running process but instead opens a new SMPlayer and adds it to the playlist there.

This kinda removes the whole point of that option, doesn't it?
If I want this to happen I could just run it as I always do :)

I am using SMPlayer on Ubuntu 10.10 64Bit and it is the SVN r3447

If the option "Use only one running instance of SMPlayer" is disables, smplayer can't communicate with another instance, so it can't add the file to the other instance playlist.

Well maybe you could ignore that option completely if smplayer is called with "-add-to-playlist" ?
