OK; just upgraded to the latest version in the hope that maybe this would be fixed, but no! STILL cannot play ANY video with this player! All I get is the player with the progress bar moving but no video window or video whatsoever! Win 10 64bit;24gb RAM; 1TB h/d; AMD Radeon R9 graphics.

Try a different video output in preferences -> general.
