[Suggestion] SMplayer should rip dvds

I had this player for a while until I needed a dvd ripper. I then switched to VLC Media Player. SMplayer has a lot more to offer than VLC except, it is unable to rip dvds. If SMPlayer could do that, I might switch back over to SMPlayer.

If you mean play dvds, smplayer can play dvds.

I think a feature to rip dvds is out of the scope of a media player like smplayer. Also it would require a lot of work and time to implement it, and no one else has asked for this feature. But if someone contributes with a patch to implement it I'd be happy to add it.
