download websites question

i have a basic question (kinda relating to smplayer)
i know smplayer is hosted at filehorse and sourceforge.
back in the day I used to use CNET /Download.com w 15.5 and a different url
i dont see the download button to start download on any software. or TuCows
but w an old version . Are CNET/DL com and tucows out dated? what are best and safest sites to download from

It would require a lot of time to upload the packages to all download websites, so I only upload them to a few. Some update the packages on their own, while others don't update them at all.

ACTUALLY
i was asking
1: did you put it on dl net and tucows
and
2:i was really asking was are Download com and Tucows outdated sites, i remember these sites back from 99, they seem out dated and i cant seem to find the download button on ANY software to start the download
are there sites obsolete to download things, tu cows dont seem have anything updated.

GOOD REPUTLE SAFE sites people use now (if tu cows and dl com are outdated)
