stop browser support

i saw this in smplayer bat and my desktop you tube player program that i reported to the developer
it says we will stop supporting this browser try a updated one, i already have firefox and edge .
what browser does smplayer/tube use i know u can use a external player, but it wont play after awhile
this might be IE ?
what this mean?
