thx rvm for letting us know early you tube broke,
softwares any video converter and 5k player as well as HD converter factory broke too.
i contacted those companies, HD UPDATED (i quit them, the interface is white and w10 and offered FREE 99 downloads NOW you gatta pay after 0 )

Since I'm a little bit tired of fixing youtube every time it breaks, I think in the next version smplayer will just use youtube-dl to get the video urls.

The old code for youtube support has been removed from svn and a new one which uses youtube-dl has been added. Both to smplayer and smtube.

and how will it work what happens when you tube changes algorithms or setup
also will this be changed in both smPLAYER and smTUBE

oh ya when you reinstall a box thing says installing youtube.dl
will this permanently fix one time it or will t update itself every time you tube changes something
i remember smplayer had that check for you tube update thing
you also were going a smtube open to your own page of choice in setup
