I know the SMPlayer use qss which is similar to css (which I know a bit) for theming so I could try to make some fixes waiting for a fix in newer versions.
Just let me know which toolkit/softwares I need to easily do that and if a sort of live inspector exist for that (a bit like can be done for chromium interfaces)
