Is the project death?

Since I tried SMPlayer for the first time I fell in love. It´s the only player I use in windows and in Ubuntu, it´s almost perfect.

However, I have used it for a long long time and I hasn´t been updated yet. Also, the repository for Ubuntu doesn´t work anymore, at least for Ubuntu 10.10, and even if it worked the mplayer version isn´t up-to-date...

I would be really terrible if the best media player nowadays became obsolete with the time (or do you say "in time"?) because the project has death, but maybe I´m overreacting and it just isn´t anything to improve yet. So, I really wanna now, what will happen with the program in the future?

What happens is that this project only has one developer (me), and this developer is busy right now with other things. So I don't have time to update the repository for Ubuntu, check the patches, bugs, translations... Sorry.

If someone else would like to continue with the development, just send me a mail and I'll be happy to give write permission to the svn.

I also first like to say thank you for all the efforts and also wanted to see if you are still fixing the bugs ? the player some times crashes when I try to move forward the movie.

Thanks for this great player! Just installed it on arch and it's superior to every other graphical player I've used so far!
