smplayer-0.7.1.4110-x86 > aspect ratio not adjustable

Hello all,

SMPlayer-0.7.1. (stable) has the possibility of correcting/changing the aspect ratio from Menu – Video – Aspect-ratio.
This function does not work for me with smplayer-0.7.1.4110-x86.exe (Unstable).

Windows XP-home SP3 32 bit.
Video: on-board, Via/S3G Unichrome Pro IGP.

Thank you for your feedback but I don't have any issue cycling through the aspect ratios. I'm using Windows 7 but I suppose I will install it on XP and see if it still happens.

In the Options, under General - Video, try selecting a different output driver, like gl or gl2, and see if changing aspect ratios work. I couldn't get it to work under XP with direct3d/directx, and the problem doesn't exist in Win 7 when using directx.
