error when playing audio and video files

Hi all,

I have updated mplayer and smplayer to last version.

Now when opening audio and video files following error is shown:

mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libcdio_cdda.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

How can I solve this?

It seems a problem with the installation of mplayer. It needs a library you don't have installed.

try reinstalling it. While on setup process, click on full installation instead of default. that usually works on most of my applications.
