Lag on play/pause if focus set off smplayer window

Tested the “lag/freezing problem when clicking on a non focused video screen”.

smplayer-0.6.9-win32.exe > has not the above problem,

smplayer-0.6.10-win32.exe >
smplayer-0.7.1-win32.exe > these 3 do have the above problem on my computer
smplayer-0.8.0-win32.exe >

@ Supermaks, does your computer has anything in common with the hardware I mentioned in my previous post?
Suspect my video (on-board) VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro IGP, as being troublesome.

I could finally reproduce the problem (on windows xp). I think this is caused by mplayer. It doesn't happen with the old mplayer svn r33216, but it happens with mplayer svn r34835.

I've made tests with mplayer from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mplayer ... 0MEncoder/
Starting from rev. 34118 smplayer 0.6.10 has "lag bug", 0.6.9 has NO problem with any rev up to 34401 (and even 34485 which I've got from 0.8.0 portable distribution package).

I believe it's not mplayer problem, because smplayer 0.6.9 works fine with any version of mplayer.

UPDATE: I have an idea, rmv. Smplayer 0.6.9 and 0.6.10 are compiled by different compilers (accoung new dll in 0.6.10 distro like libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll - may be this is the reason ? Can you compile 0.6.10 and up with old compiler and test?)

The problem could be caused by Qt. SMPlayer 0.6.9 uses Qt 4.5.1, it doesn't have the problem, no freezes even with with mplayer svn r34835. SMPlayer 0.6.10 uses Qt 4.7.4, it has the problem. If I copy the Qt dlls from version 0.6.10 to 0.6.9, then version 0.6.9 has the problem too.

I've compiled Smplayer 0.6.9 and Smplayer 0.6.10 myself with QT 4.8.1.
Tests:
0.6.9 with mplayer 33216 - ok
0.6.9 with mplayer 34485 - problem
0.6.10 with mplayer 33216 - ok
0.6.10 with mplayer 34485 - problem

According to the times in the logs, it seems the freeze happens before the call to MplayerWindow::mouseReleaseEvent. I don't know why.

By the way, it's not necessary to enable the stay on top option, it also happens without it. Even it's not necessary to set the left click button to play/pause. The freeze also happens with the right button. The freeze happens only if clicked on the video frame, not if clicked on the black border.

Everyone's testing with XP/2003 family must be why I can't see it, I only have Windows 7 and I could use a virtual machine XP but it lags without any help. If you think the compiler might be the problem, you can try this, uses Qt 4.8.1 & SMPlayer compiled from scratch with a different/newer/more maintained MinGW toolchain & GCC and not Qt's precompiled ones or MinGW/GCC: http://sourceforge.net/projects/smplaye ... z/download

It hung when I tried to run it on my build machine, had to delete the .smplayer folder.
