Pressing several times „o“ i can make (s)mplayer show the time.

Two problems occur:
1. I would like to see not only seconds, but milliseconds.
2. (I‘m not sure, but it seems) the time is not always the same.

I need exact times (to create an subtitle srt-file).

Is there a way to get 1.?
What about 2.?

That text in the OSD is displayed directly by mplayer. It doesn't display milliseconds.

You could load the video into something like avidemux to get more precise times...
