Using k-lite codecs pack

I've been using for a long time 'Media Player Classic' with k-lite codecs full.
I recently installed SMPlayer. It's a great player, but a lot of files (avi, wmv) just won't play.
I've tried different settings, but nothing helped.

How do I set SMPlayer to use k-lite codecs?

Here is the log. I'm using an old computer. Win xp sp3.
If I set Video Output to DirectX(slow), The file does play but the quality is very poor.

i used use klite but they so big and hogging
i switched to a converter i use w codecs built in which is much smaller
when my NERO quit playing dvds because it was a trial i found UMPlayer /SMplayer now umplayer wont update the you tube /url functions i went to SM
its nice no need for quicktime
