Minor upgrade problems

Postby Sourcefan » Mon Feb 11, 2013 8:54 pm

Hello all,

When upgrading from rev. 5117 to 5146 and upgrading from 5146 to 5150 using the “upgrade” function from the installer the next folder became empty:
C:\Program Files\SMPlayer\mplayer\codecs
From the installer window I could read: “Failed to copy codecs to D:\Documents and Settings\Sourcefan\Local Settings\Temp\etc” (Could not read the exact value for etc).

When upgrading and using the “uninstall” function from the installer, the installation went fine. C:\Program Files\SMPlayer\mplayer\codecs is filled with codecs.

Windows XP-home (32-bit)
smplayer-0.8.3.5150

I installed all three one after another with the upgrade option and had no problem copying the codecs, didn't get that error.

If I actually tried XP.. turns out it was specific to XP. Should be fixed in the next installer.
