Floating control Full Screen don't permit Keyboard shortcut

Hi, proving different Video Players i found your SMPlayer that satisfy all i need but it has a bug (in my opinion)

When user play a movie into Full Screen and Floating control are showed on screen, any keyoboard shortcut of available action don't run (except space bar that permit to pause movie)

There is possibility to improve program solving problem ?
Keyoboard shortcut available also with Floating control on Full screen Mode is very comfortable for example
when i must to go to a determinate point of movie increasing speed with button (+ - )
viewing in the same time seek bar or i want do other functions programmed to a button.
I proved it comparing to other players (as "Light Alloy", "VLC") that don't have this bug
and the possibility to use keyboard also with floating control in full screen is very interesting in my opinion

It seems the problem happens on windows only. I'll try to fix it.

Yes, my operating system is Windows and the problem happens also with
your last version of SMPlayer and for all windows that i have: Win2000, XP, and Win7 x64.

I hope that you can fix problem.

ok, tonight when i come back to home, i will immediately test it on all my operating systems that i have and i answer you if the bug is fixed. Wait some hours.

Seems to work fine on WinXP-32. Thanks, that's something I've wished for.

I have tested your new version of SMPlayer on all my OS (Win7 x64 - WinXP - Win2000 Sp4) and the bug is fixed.
During installation under Win2000 is showed and advise for not compatibility but forcing install, after reboot all run.
Now that the problem is solved can you upload on WEB this new version compiled also for Win7 64 bit
into package for portable version (I'm using always portable in all my computers) ?


I ask you if you have some plan to improve into SMPlayer section that play DVD-Video that i see that it
is always under experimental project, and i have found lot bugs.

As for DVD bugs, it's probably nothing that isn't already known about. There has been hardly any development from the developers of the DVD libraries.

Is interesting (in my opinion) if pressing icon "i" is showed
SHA1 & MD5

and in addiction you inform user adding the changelog of new version compared with previous version
(example what BUG is fixed, what new function is added etc...)

Is possible ?
