Hello,
I remember requesting an option for SMPlayer's preferences to be able to configure the STOP playback function, to be able to just stop on a single click and not require two clicks.
The illustrious developed himself, RVM, even suggested that an option could be added mentioned here: http://smplayer.berlios.de/forums/viewt ... 3618#p3618
Like many other mplayer builds, SMPlayer's 'Stop' function works unconventionally as a Stop feature to be able to resume playback like from stopping much like the way the 'Pause' function works.
But coming from the old-skool myself, and being familiar with many other (especially non-Mplayer) media players out there, I am simply used to just pressing Stop a single time and having the file stop playback entirely (reverting the file position back to 00:00 again as simple).
So I would dearly appreciate an option for this in the SMPlayer preferences gui (not a manual ini configuring), ideally located under Preferences>General
I remember Martin Fielder's mplayer frontend (called MPUI) featuring this 'Stop' trick/code. BTW, I am not a developer or coder fyi
Thank you.
