creating favorites/playlist

I can't figure out how to create a favorite list...or the relationship of playlists and favorites. I want to add an entire folder of mp3's, for instance, to the current session so I don't have to keep opening the files
menu to add the next. This is very irritating when the files are only 2-3 min. long. Thanks!

The playlist allows you to add the contents of a folder to the playlist.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear...I would like to know how to create a play list and/or a favorites list. Please be specific if you know, I need simple steps starting from as basic as you can, please don't assume I know very much. Thanks

Options -> Playlist. Click on the "+" button and select "add directory". Select the directory with your mp3 files, all will be added to the playlist. You can save the playlist with the save button (give it a name with the m3u extension). You can open it later with Open -> Playlist.
